The Digital Library of Georgia is pleased to share the second in a series of printable posters and postcards for K-12 educators and students, based upon the Georgia 8th Grade Social Studies Standards of Excellence (GSE). These resources provide high quality, standards-aligned materials that help teachers meet the varying academic interests and needs of their students.<\/p>\n

The latest poster is for the SS8H3 module, Analyze the role of Georgia in the American Revolutionary Era, which includes the document Plan of the siege of Savannah : with the joint attack of the French and Americans on the 9th October 1779 : in which they were defeated by his Majesty’s forces under the command of Major Genl.
