DLG 2022-2023 Subgrant Call For Proposals<\/b><\/p>\n
The Digital Library of Georgia (DLG) is soliciting proposals for historic digitization projects costing up to $7500 in DLG services from non-profit Georgia cultural heritage institutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A couple of significant changes that we have made to this year\u2019s call is removing the requirement that applicant organizations be open to the public and that their collections be available for public research either by appointment or through regular hours. We made these changes to encourage applications from community-based archives.<\/span><\/p>\n The rest of the grant remains the same: project metadata will be included in the DLG portal (<\/span>dlg.usg.edu<\/span><\/a>) and the Digital Public Library of America (<\/span>dp.la<\/span><\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Projects may include reformatting textual materials (not including newspapers), graphic materials, or audio-visual materials.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Applicants should have materials prepared for a project start date of <\/span>July 1, 2022<\/b>.
