The \u201cLouisiana Digital Library (LDL) as Data<\/strong>\u201d project allowed LDL institutions to collaboratively explore policies and practices for the creation of metadata that support collections as data.

During this webinar, hear about the technical and community-focused developments that resulted from the Mellon-funded project<\/a>.

        About speaker Leah Duncan<\/strong>

        From August 2019 to May 2024, Leah Duncan worked at LSU Libraries, developing resources and community around digital collections, digital scholarship, and special collections.

        In particular, she supported the use of the Louisiana Digital Library (LDL), serving as Project Manager on the \u201c        LDL as Data<\/a>\u201d project, which was funded by Collections as Data: Part to Whole<\/a>. In May 2024, she joined the team at Davidson College\u2019s E. H. Little Library<\/a> as Digital Humanities Librarian.

        Duncan received her PhD in English from LSU, and she is soon to finish her Masters in Library and Information Science at LSU.<\/div>\r\n
