The Digital Library of Georgia is pleased to share the second in a series of printable posters and postcards for K-12 educators and students, based upon the Georgia 8th Grade Social Studies Standards of Excellence (GSE). These resources provide high quality, standards-aligned materials that help teachers meet the varying academic interests and needs of their students.
The latest poster is for the SS8H3 module, Analyze the role of Georgia in the American Revolutionary Era, which includes the document Plan of the siege of Savannah : with the joint attack of the French and Americans on the 9th October 1779 : in which they were defeated by his Majesty’s forces under the command of Major Genl. Augustin Prevost (1784), courtesy of Hargrett Library.
